She has a soothing voice ~like a young fairy godmother’s. I kind of wish I didn’t give up on French back in high school so I can actually understand the song instead of having to use Google Translate.

Time for a Rilo Kiley B-side! Off the “It’s a Hit” single. I had this stuck in my head all day yesterday.

Rilo Kiley - I Love LA - Live at ACL 5/5/2005. I’ve had the line “when the palm trees bow their heads” (the music from it, I couldn’t remember the words) stuck in my head for a couple of days and I couldn’t figure out for the longest time what it was.
