Alpha Protocol - Shooter/RPG/Adventure landing on October 6. I haven’t heard of this before, but it looks like it could be really good. *fingers crossed* (via Kotaku)
My friend Randall did the sound design for this film, coming next week to IFC On Demand. “She’s hearing voices…but this time, they’re not in her head…they’re in her house…” Okay, so if you like cheesy, low-budget, demony horror flicks, check it out. :)
The first few minutes of Tell-Tale Games’ upcoming Tales of Monkey Island. Looks like they’re doing a good job at capturing the wit and pacing of LucasArt’s originals. Coming next week on PC and Wii. (via Kotaku)
New Bishop Allen video - “Shanghaied” (from Grrr…). Needs more Keith (the bassist in the blue cap). Because he’s hot. They’re one of the few bands that I angle for standing near the bassist’s side of the stage. ;) via You Ain’t No Picasso
New Jenny Lewis Video - “Black Sand” - Video - Stereogum. Jenny seems kind of determined to be lo-fi and somewhat weird-ass for this record, doesn’t she? And of all the songs on the album to do a video for FIRST? Still. It’s Jenny.
Harmonix demos Rock Band: The Beatles. Lots of detail on the screen. Interesting tidbit: the harmonies are extra, not required. You don’t get docked points if you have multiple people singing the melody and just ignoring the harmony.
“OMG, I have the perfect hat for this!” I laughed out loud. Had to go find and clip the hat part before I even finished watching the episode. One of the better Family Guys recently.
